AUREA / FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Aurea has been a part of Dr. Leon Chang’s practice for many years. She shares the responsibilities of both chairside and front desk coordinator. Aurea received her RDA training at Chabot College. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her 3 grandchildren. She also loves yoga.
REA / FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Rea joined the team part-time as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2014. She obtained her license in 2006. She recently transitioned full-time, handling mostly administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and processing claims. She attended Bryman College, and graduated from their Dental Assisting Program in 2005. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping and hiking outdoors.
ELIZA / FRONT DESK COORDINATOR / REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Eliza has been one of our Licensed Registered Dental Assistant since 2001. She attended Bryman College and graduated from their Dental Assisting Program in 2001. When not at work, Eliza loves spending time with her two kids and husband, and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Practitioner.
KELLY / REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Kelly has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1997. She has worked at Dr. Leon Chang's office since January 2000. She went to school at Eden Area ROP in Hayward for dental assisting. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her kids.
KATIE / REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Katie has been in the dental field for approximately 15 years. She was a dental assistant for 10 years, and then was given the opportunity to go back to school to further her education and become a dental hygienist. Katie graduated from Carrington College and enjoys caring for her patients and educating them on their oral health. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
UMA / REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Uma has been a dental hygienist for over fourteen years.
She loves interacting with her patients at Leon Chang, DDS educating them about their oral health. Uma has been married for 25 years, and has two boys. She hikes every weekend, and spends time with family.
SILVIA / REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Silvia received her A.S. Dental Assisting from Modesto Junior College in 1985. She decided to continue her education and become a dental hygienist. Silvia received her A. A. in Dental Hygiene from Chabot College in 1989. She has been part of Dr. Leon Chang's great office for 29 years. The best part of her job is when her patients feel like family. That is a benefit of being in same office for so many years. Silvia has been happily married for 26 years, and has two adult children. She enjoys working out, reading and spending time with family.
