Teeth Whitening

There are several options when it comes to teeth whitening. With so many options on the market, it can be confusing to decide which one is best for you. At our office we offer Zoom whitening which is an in-office procedure which takes no more than 2 hours. We also offer custom made whitening trays along with different concentration of whitening gels. Finally, the most economical option we have are whitening strips which have a higher concentration of whitening ingredient than over the counter whitening strips.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a system utilizing clear aligners to straighten your teeth without the need for wires or brackets. Patients wear a series of clear aligners which are custom made to move teeth in very small increments. Because the aligners are removable, you can eat and drink whatever you want so along as you wear your aligners at least 22 hours a day. Also with the Invisalign, you can floss and brush your teeth like you normally do. Treatment usually lasts from 6-15 months. There are limitations to what Invisalign can do so it is best to come in for an evaluation to see if you are a good candidate for treatment.

Implant Restoration

Implants are the best way to restore missing teeth and it does not involve prepping adjacent teeth. Implants are made of titanium which is extremely biocompatible; it acts as the root and foundation of the subsequent crown which will be placed on top of the implant. After the implant is placed, there is a healing period where the bone fuses into the implant. Once the fusion has occurred, an abutment is fitted over the implant, and this abutment is where we would attach the final crown. For the placement of the implant, we would refer you to surgeons in the area who we have solid working relationships with and share the same philosophy of how we treat our patients. Once the surgeon has determined that the integrity of the implant is satisfactory, Dr. Chang will then restore the implant with the necessary abutment and final crown.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are permanent restorations that only cover the front portion of your teeth. They are custom made by a dental lab and are permanently bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They are super thin which only requires minimal reduction of tooth structure. An impression is taken and sent to the lab for fabrication. This procedure is done to improve a patient's appearance whether we are trying to achieve a whiter smile, closing spaces or simply changing the shapes of teeth. We work with dental labs which share our philosophy of paying strict attention to details.
